Dear Family,
We are so excited to be journaling digitally with a hard copy backup. We don't know if you all know or not but the last journal that was being passed around was lost in the mail. We feel bad that we lost part of our history but it pushed us into a better way. As they say - live and learn. Thank you Joy for getting this organized and everyone please feel free to write at anytime. We need to have our history recorded.
Mom is now working at a call center called CaptionCall. We speak into a SIRI type program (called Dragon) and it captions the words on a phone screen for the deaf and hard of hearing so when someone calls them they can receive the whole conversation visually as well as hearing so they don't miss anything. The only funny thing is the program is not perfect and that needs no other explanation - just think of autocorrect :< I am constantly training my Dragon (so to speak lol).
Dad's business is growing as he networks with clients and referrals with BNI (his networking group. He is feeling better but still has pain on occasion. The MRI did show something in his hip but he won't meet with the doctor until the last week of September.
We are getting very excited for our cruise in December. We're leaving on the 19th and coming back on the 28th. Covers both our birthdays and Christmas. But before all that we will be moving before the 1st of November.
Well, we invite all of you to contribute to this journal so we have an updated history. We know you are all busy and we want to hear all about it and see all the pictures.
