Then I took an extra week off so that Aaron and I could go over to Cincinnati for a Ringo Starr concert. The concert was fantastic though a little on the warm and sticky side.
After only a week back at work I took another week off and went to visit the Salmon's. Again always fun to spend time with family to have adventures and make more memories.
After all the fun of traveling now it is back to work and preparing for the start of fall semester. Things are still not settled with our front desk person, but I try and keep moving forward and accepting the new tasks that are asked of me. I was selected to sit on the search committee that will be selecting the new President of Ohio University as the current President will be retiring in June. I am serving as Chair of Classified Senate which is helping me to grow and stretch in knowledge and leadership.
Last but not least I sent Aaron on vacation with his brother in law Dave. They have made a long weekend traveling up to Greenfield WI and stopping at several music stores in search of all things drum. More on that at a later time as he is still on that adventure.
So glad you had a great summer adventure. It's always good to get away and so good to get back to the structure of regular schedule. How you get your assistant position figured out so you get the help you need. Congrats on the search committee - that should be a growing experience as well. Very proud of you Jennifer and love you so much. Can't wait to hear about Aaron's travels.
