Dear family,
Birthdays and Christmas with y'all was fabulous.  Christmas is so different for us now that it's just us two simple elderly folks.  Quiet and contemplative.  Love visiting with family on any technology available or in person.  How blessed we are to live in such a world since most of us have to live so far apart.  It looked like everyone had a beautiful Christmas as well.  Because of Christ we have such blessings!
Here we are in 2017...where is everybody.  I'm thinking about do a physical journal through the mail again and hoping it won't get lost.  This electronic version is awesome and thank Joy for setting us up, however it's kinda an out of sight out of mind type of thing.  We are all super busy but relationships take time and effort and I believe our family is worth the time and effort.  I love you all so very much!
Well, to end 2016 and begin 2017 Dad and I took a relaxing trip to San Diego. The trip was fabulous once we finally got out of town.  We thought we left early enough on Friday to miss holiday traffic but we were wrong.  A 5 1/2 trip took us 8 hours. Traffic was a nightmare to say the least.  We were super tired when we got there but the hotel was comfy.
We had so much fun in Seaworld.  Of course the Beluga's are our favorites  but the dolphins take a pretty close second.  We went to the San Diego temple but they lock it all up on Sundays so we just got a few pictures.  It was pretty cool when we went to the beach so we just walked the shore up and down.  It was so peaceful and beautiful.
The trip home was uneventful and we had a great time.  Rejuvenated and ready to get back to the routine.
We hope 2017 is a great year for everyone.  It will be another eventful year with Cyle's and Mckelle's baptisms.  We keep praying Aubree will have the opportunity as well.

Love to all,  MoM and DaD.
