I love this time of year...all the different smells, emotions, and the time we get to spend with family! We went to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving and enjoyed the crazy atmosphere with all of Thomas' family. This was the first time that everyone has been together in over a year quite possibly two years. Luke had so much fun playing with all of his cousins and seeing all the holiday decorations. On Friday night we took him to Temple Square to look at all the Christmas lights and nativity displays. He LOVED it! Any time we see Christmas lights on people's houses now he calls them temples :). We were able to fly for Thanksgiving thanks to all the miles Thomas racks up from work and Luke LOVED his first plane ride. He was really good and people actually enjoyed having him on the flight. His favorite part was the take off. I think he might be an adrenaline junky and will probably enjoy roller coasters and such when he is older.I'm super excited for the Christmas season with Luke. It really is true that Christmas is meant for kids. We haven't been able to get out much to look at holiday lights as we have been sick for the last two weeks. We are on the mend and will hopefully be feeling better soon. I want to do some major holiday baking just for fun and to pass out to our neighbors and family. Wish we were all closer so I could share with everyone. I hope everyone enjoys the season and feels my love!
Sounds fun!
