Our "Christmas with the Cranks" Christmas

Hi Family,
Thought I would take a minute and update before we get back into the grind of life (even though we still have New Years).  So Mom was offered to go full time at work which was accepted.  Not because I want more work of course but because they offer benefits and with Dad being self employed we feel it is the right thing to do.  That starts on the New Year Day.
We so enjoyed our holiday away in Mexico.  The weather was so delightful but made it difficult to come back to very frigid weather.  Abnormally cold.  We'll adjust and layer.  Like they said on the news last night...start with about 8 layers and go from there (hehe)!
We did some fun and conservative land tours taking a catamaran ride around some of the land's end water features.  Going to a Mexican Festival dancing and singing program, and venturing on our own along the Malecon (a stretch of beach about 3 miles with sculptures and street performers and shopping of course).  Our three ports were Cabos San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta.
The ship was a little of a disappointment as we felt a lot of motion and there was not as much on board to do.  This is the first medium sized ship we have been on and it really does make a difference.  We were on the Holland America Veendam.  Everyone was nice and as helpful as could be expected but there are definately some language barriers.
We enjoyed our birthdays... thank you all for your birthday wishes.  We are glad to be home safe and healthy.
We hope you each have a wonderful New Year.  Be safe in all that you do to celebrate.  We love you each so much and love hearing and seeing pictures of all the things that make your lives meaningful. We're very excited about the news of additions to the family and pray for your health as you prepare to bring these little ones into the family.
