We have been busy this fall and winter! Thanksgiving was at our house with a few other families which was fun. Since we don't have family nearby, we have to create our own psuedo family! In Decemeber, Mckelle was an angel in the Nutcracker (they performed 4 times) and she did awesome! She had to put several hours in and at the moment was not loving it, but now that it is over she dances all over the front room.
We enjoyed our Christmas by celebrating Christmas eve with friends! The kids were up by about 430 5ish on Christmas Day, Brett and Jamee were super exhausted.

We went and chopped down our own tree this year which was so fun! We hope to make it a yearly tradition!
Now that we are back in the swing of things, our schedule is crazy again.
Jace started piano and basketball starts in another week. He also will be doing the free swimming lessons our school district offers in 2 more weeks. With all of that you would think how do we fit in Chess club and Scouts (which he will earn his wolf next Tuesday) we just do it! Jace is my adventurous one...always willing to try anything. He is great in school and likes to be involved! In fact, he recently got on to the PTK (Parent Teacher Kids). He helps run the school store and such!
Mckelle has decide that she wants to continue with Ballet and Jazz this spring. I am so glad because she is the cutest little dancer.
She is super smart! They do testing 3 times a year to measure their academic success and Mckelle came out as the top reader in her class (her momma can't help be proud)! That puts her at a 2nd grade level already!
She still ceases to amaze us with her indivuality and strong willed personality. She reminds Brett a lot of his Grandma Dawn Eggett, who just passed away in December.
She reminds me of the girl in the movie "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" - no one can tell her she can't and she will always try try again until she succeeds!
Dustin loves staying at home with Mom and gave her the cold shoulder after she got home from her first day back at work. He loves to go to the Library, the Rec center Day care while mom works out, and anything else that is preschool related. He is all boy! He loves his Toy story Characters, Cars characters, and trains!
He has tried to potty train 3x this year with out any long term success...whoever said third time is a charm was lying! haha
He recently split his chin open while playing with a friend and had to have a "glue" bandaid put on. He is so brave! He looks forward to being 3 in April!
This is his best friend (Mason) and we had just finished a playgroup at the library!
Brett continues to love working in Wyoming! It has its challenges as does any other job! He is recently trying to grow a beard, which he hasn't done for over 6 years I think! He still loves anything outdoors and this last fall got a deer! Jace got to go with and this was the heart! It was so fascinating! This picture truly shows his love for all things manly!
Jamee just does her best to try and be the best glue and spiritual director she can be!
The last few photos are of our fall family pics!
I sure do love this family of mine!

How fun to catch up on all your family busy-ness. I remember those days well and loved it so much. Family is so wonderful and you are great parents to these three adorable munchkins. Isn't it so amazing how individual they each become. Love seeing all the pictures to put with all the experiences. Love y'all so much.
